No-Sew Fabric Curtains

A new look for your space is easy with Aleene's Fabric Fusion. I love to sew but when I need a project done fast, Aleene's Fabric Fusion is my go to. We wanted to refresh our breakfast nook quickly and affordably ... a few yards of fabric later, our space is ready with a whole new look, thanks to Aleene's Fabric Fusion. Here's how:

What you need:
  • Aleene's Fabric Fusion
  • Fabric (yardage will vary depending on the size of the window)
  • Scissors
  • Iron
  • Measuring tape
Measure the window. Each panel should be 1.5 times the width of the window and 6" longer than the height of the window. I hung these curtains in my kitchen, a bit lower than the top of the window so I measure this area instead of the full window height.

No Sew Fabric Curtains Iron the fabric. Cut to 1.5 times the width of the window and 6" longer than the height of the window. No Sew Fabric Curtains Fold over the fabric on the sides of the curtain by half an inch. Press with a hot iron. No Sew Fabric Curtains Fold over the top and bottom of the curtain panel by 1/2" and iron with a hot iron. No Sew Fabric Curtains Fold over the top of the panel by about 2.5" to form a channel for the curtain rod.  No Sew Fabric Curtains Press with the iron. No Sew Fabric Curtains Apply Aleene's Fabric Fusion to all of the seams and press the seams closed. No Sew Fabric Curtains Apply Aleene's Fabric Fusion to the top of the curtain panel. No Sew Fabric Curtains Fold and press down to make the sleeve for the curtain rod. No Sew Fabric Curtains Allow to dry for at least 2 hours. Thread the curtain rod through the sleeve and hang!
