The first step in creating your miniature dollhouse wallpaper is deciding on the design. You can use scrapbook paper or printed fabrics for a ready-made pattern. Consider the theme and style of your dollhouse and choose patterns that complement it.

Step 2: Measure Your Walls

Before you start cutting, measure the walls of your dollhouse where you want to apply the dollhouse wallpaper. Use your rule to take precise measurements of the height and width. Always double check your measurements because accuracy is key when working on a miniature scale.

Step 3: Cut Your Dollhouse Wallpaper

With your measurements in hand, mark the dimensions of your chosen room with a pencil or piece of chalk. Carefully cut your dollhouse wallpaper pieces with a rotary cutter or scissors. Remember to cut slightly larger pieces than your measurements to allow for trimming and adjustments.

Step 4: Apply the Dollhouse Wallpaper

Now comes the fun part – applying the dollhouse wallpaper! Apply a thin layer of Aleene’s Fast Grab Tacky Glue to avoid bubbling. Carefully position the dollhouse wallpaper on the dollhouse wall, starting from one corner and smoothing it outward to prevent wrinkles. Trim any excess with your scissors.

Step 5: Add the Finishing Touches

To add extra flair, consider using extra fabric pieces or decorative borders to add baseboards or wainscoting. This not only enhances the look but also covers and minor imperfections at the edges.
