Oh Happy Day! I can't quite figure out yet what excites me more....colorful glass or this awesome glue! Seriously you have no idea how many times I wanted to glue glass onto glass but I just couldn't find the perfect glue. It's almost Valentine's Day and I wanted to show you a fun project that you can do for your loved ones. I love that these mason jars hold tea light candles, what a perfect way to add ambiance to any space!
Let's get started!
What you need:
Aleene's Ultimate Adhesive
Mason Jars or Candle Vases
Mosaic Pre-Cut Tiles
This unbelievably strong adhesive is designed for industrial-strength bonding on glass and other surfaces! It's perfect for slick surfaces.

then you KNOW that everything I do is bright and full of color! I seriously tried to tone it down a few times in my life but my soul started hurting soon after. I was born to be BRIGHT and it shows in all of my projects. I found these pre-cut glass tiles at my local craft store and I just knew I wanted to transform my jars into a fun mosaic collage!
I used pre-colored mason jars however you can use plain white ones for this project as well. Trust me once these are covered with colored glass you will forget what color the jar was! The first thing you want to do is put glass and bead glue on the back of the glass tile. I would say this could possibly be a kids project as well but I recommend an adult helping and putting gloves on your kid.
Apply them all over your mason jar or whatever you are covering! I didn't really have a starting point, I just glued down the first one and added more around it until it was fully covered. Make sure to let it sit for a few hours to ensure it dries properly. If your pieces of glass start to slide then add less glue. I added a few than let it sit for a hot minute before I turned the jar around to the next section. It's really that simple!
How gorgeous are these babies! I found myself looking for more glass in my studio just so I could make more mosaic pieces!
For my large vase I wanted to keep it simple and classic so I only added the colored glass to the rim. I think it came out beautiful. You can put a candle in here or a bouquet of flowers. Have fun with this project and color outside the lines. If you don't like too much color then stick to one shade. Anything will look good I can promise you that.
