• Ruler
• Craft knife or utility knife
• Cutting mat
• Protective gloves and mask
• Newspaper or a drop cloth

Step 1: Plan Out the Size of Your Gingerbread House(s)

Start by sketching your faux gingerbread house design on a piece of paper. Decide on the size and shape of your house including any windows or doors you’d like to incorporate. Be as creative as you’d like – think about all the fun details you can add. Transfer your design onto the foam core board using a pencil and ruler.
Step 2: Cut Pieces & Assemble Faux Gingerbread House(s)

Carefully cut out the pieces from your foam core with a utility knife. You will need at least 6 pieces including 4 walls and two roof panels. Remember to also cut out any windows or doors you designed. Now is also the time to cut the trees and gingerbread people who will live in your faux gingerbread house village. Use Aleene’s Tacky Glue to assemble the pieces of your house. Once the walls are secure, attach the roof panels. Be sure to hold the pieces in place until the glue sets.
Step 3: Paint Cut-Out Pieces for Faux Gingerbread House Village

Use COLORSHOT Premium Spray Paint Skinny Dip to paint all your pieces to simulate a gingerbread look.
Step 4: Use True Snow to Add Winter Accents to Faux Gingerbread House Village

Now comes the fun part… decorating your house! Use Aleene’s True Snow to add snowy accents and Puff Paint to add fine details to the roof, doors and windows. Once everything is dry, inspect your faux gingerbread houses for any needed touch-ups.
Step 5: Display!

And there you have it – a charming faux gingerbread house village that adds a whimsical touch to your holiday décor. Display it on your mantel, dining table or any spot that could use a sprinkle of festive cheer. Enjoy your creative masterpiece and the joy it brings to your home!
