Step 1: Prepare and paint the frame

Prepare and paint the frame

For this DIY Father's Day gift idea, Oh Yay Studio is upcycling an old picture frame! Remove the back and glass of the picture frame, then use sandpaper to smoothen any rough areas. Ensure the frame is clean and dry, place it onto a covered work surface in a well-ventilated area, then apply COLORSHOT Spray Paint to the frame in smooth, even strokes. Allow the paint to dry to the touch before applying additional coats as needed. Set the painted frame aside to cure completely.

Step 2: Cut Dad's cardstock silhouette

This DIY Father's Day gift idea features colorful silhouettes of Dad and his son! Tape the side profile photo of Dad onto a cardstock color of your choice, then use a craft knife to carefully cut out his silhouette.

Step 3: Cut the kid's silhouette from cardstock
