Sparkling Embellished Sheepskin Boots with Leather & Suede Glue

This simple tutorial will show you how to use Aleene’s Leather & Suede Glue to add decorative trim and sparkling embellishments to a pair of sheepskin boots, without damaging the delicate material. Supplies needed:
Sheepskin boots (ugg winter boots)
Decorative trim
Rhinestone appliqués
Straight pins
Scissors
Step 1: Pin trim onto sheepskin boots
Ensure your sheepskin boots are clean, dry, and free of dust or debris. Begin customizing your cozy ugg winter boots by placing decorative trim along the seams. Secure the trim into place with straight pins and trim as needed with scissors.
Step 2: Glue the trim to sheepskin boots
Work in sections to glue the trim onto the ugg winter boots. Remove a few pins, apply a thin line of Aleene’s Leather & Suede Glue to the boot, press the trim into place, then re-pin the trim. Repeat this process until all the trim is glued and secured onto your sheepskin boots.
Step 3: Arrange appliqués and apply Leather & Suede Glue
Plan out where you’d like to place the rhinestone appliqués on your ugg winter boots. Apply Aleene’s Leather & Suede Glue to the back of each appliqué, then press into place on your sheepskin boots. Once glued, hold the appliqués in place with a few straight pins.
Step 4: Allow Leather & Suede glue to set
Keep the embellishments pinned to your ugg winter boots for 1-2 hours and allow the glue to set. Once the glue has set, carefully remove the straight pins and allow your custom sheepskin boots to cure completely for 24 hours.
