Trending DIY Embellishments: Butterfly Mirror Frame DIY with Matching Bookends
Bring nature indoors with a beautiful butterfly mirror frame DIY! This fabulous fall craft will surely bring some soothing vibes to your space. Start this mirror frame DIY by prepping your project. Cover the mirrored surface with kraft paper and use painter’s tape to cover the edges and secure the paper in place. This will protect the mirror from overspray and make cleanup a breeze!
Step 2 Prime and paintStep 2 Prime and paint
In a well-ventilated area, apply COLORSHOT White Primer to the mirror frame, butterfly embellishments, and bookends. Allow the primer to dry for at least 10 minutes. Next, apply COLORSHOT Spray Paints to your mirror set. For this project, we used Princess Cut on the butterflies and mirror and Cheers for the bookends. Shake the can for at least 1 minute and apply the paint in smooth, even strokes. Allow to dry between coats. Once youre satisfied with the color coverage, allow the spray paint to dry completely.

Use a craft knife to carefully cut and remove the painters tape and kraft paper from the mirror. Place the painted butterfly embellishments along the mirror frame as desired.

Apply Aleenes DIY Craft Heavy Duty Adhesive to the back of each butterfly embellishment and press to secure into place.

Allow the glue to dry and cure completely for 24 hours. Display your DIY mirror frame and bookends for a fun home dcor refresh!
