What you need:- Aleene’s Permanent Fabric Glue
- Canvas tote bag(s)
- Yarn in desired colors
- Pencil
- Scissors
Step 1
Before getting started on one of the easiest DIY projects you might ever make (with such fabulous results), make sure your tote bag is washed, dried and ironed smooth.
Step 2Using a pencil, lightly sketch your designs onto the front of your tote bag. You can go with florals, geometric designs, words or fun abstract shapes!
Step 3Once you’re happy with the look of your sketches, it’s time to get started on the glue part of this easiest DIY ever! Working in small sections at a time, apply a thin line of Permanent Fabric Glue over your design lines and begin pressing the yarn in place.
Step 4You can either apply your yarn in one continuous strand if that's the look you are going for, or cut as you apply and glue to smaller sections.
Step 5After you've glued all of your yarn in place over the designs, let dry flat for the time recommended.
