Crafting doesn’t have to be expensive— when you get those creative juices flowing, you can even turn your dollar store finds into something great! This tutorial from Craft Box Girls shows us how to turn those dollar store trinkets into a cute yet functional piece that you can make in just 5 minutes—with the help of Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue, of course!
What you need:- Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue
- Small jar

- Pipe cleaner
- Scissors
- Clothespin
Step 1
Cut a length of ribbon and tie it into a bow. Wrap your pipe cleaner around the middle section of the bow.
Step 2Cut a small piece of ribbon to cover the middle section of your bow. Apply a dot of Aleenes Original Tacky Glue and secure with a clothespin until fully dry.
Step 3Apply glue to the top of your candlestick holder, then place the jar on top. Apply pressure for a few minutes and allow to dry completely.
Step 4Tie your bow around the shaft of the candlestick holder and your craft is complete! You can use this cute piece for a variety of purposes... a sugar bowl, storage for your craft supplies, a terrarium, and more!
