Celebrate over 75 years of crafts with Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue! In 1950, Aleene Jackson broke barriers within the craft industry as she developed a specialty crafting adhesive, now known as “Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue.” She chose the iconic gold bottle that is still used today to reflect the premium quality of its contents: the gold standard of adhesives. Tacky Glue works on just about every surface: its thick, nontoxic tacky formula grabs items on contact and dries super strong, permanent, and clear, making it great for crafts, hobbies, DIYs, and household repairs. Features 3 (16 fl. oz.) bottles of Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue.

  • Premium all-purpose adhesive
  • Nontoxic but super strong
  • Incredibly versatile – works on most surfaces
  • Thick, tacky formula grabs items on contact
  • Dries permanent and clear – won’t yellow over time
  • Cleans up easily with soap and water before drying

  •       Felt
  •       Foam
  •       Wood
  •       Metal
  •       Paper products
  •       Ceramics
  •       Non-washable fabrics

Always test for best results.

  1. On paper, cloth, and porous materials, spread or brush on a thin coat, press and let dry.
  2. On wood, pottery, and semi-porous materials, apply a heavy coat, compress with a heavy weight or clamp together, then let set 30-40 minutes.
  3. While glue is wet, remove excess glue with a damp cloth.

Dry time will depend on how much glue was used and the temperature and humidity level in your area. A general dry time estimate for this glue is 37-47 minutes based on testing with a 3-millimeter coating at 70-73 degrees Fahrenheit. Thicker applications will dry at a slower rate.

Great Stuff

"Does what it needs to do! I’m assembling a dollhouse and bought this after it was recommended. Very happy with my purchase."

Handle came off of mug after gluing

"So why did I give it 5 stars? Because I glued the handle into the mug 12 years ago - or maybe longer! This is a soup mug that's used several times a week. Although I don't craft as much as I used to, I always have a bottle of Aleene's tacky glue and it's never failed me."
