Perfect for costumes and seasonal projects, Aleene’s Fabric Stiffener & Draping Liquid offers a super strong formula that shapes and stiffens most fabrics and trims. It dries clear but can be tinted for colorful, fun effects; it can also be thinned with water for less hold. Use it for creating cheesecloth decorations, lacy lanterns and so much more. Features one (16 fl. oz.) bottle of Fabric Stiffener & Draping Liquid.

  • Heavy duty formula shapes and stiffens most fabrics
  • Nontoxic
  • Dries clear
  • Can be tinted with water-based acrylic paint

  • Gauze and cheesecloth
  • Denim

Always test for best results. Wear gloves when using.

  1.      Cover form with plastic wrap. Place fabric in bowl or bag.
  2.      Pour in liquid to cover. Work into fabric. Squeeze out excess liquid.
  3.      Create desired shape with treated fabric.
  4.      As fabric dries, gently loosen from form.
  5.      Use damp cloth to clean up.
  6.      To tint: Mix stiffener and water-based acrylic paint.
  7.      To thin: Add up to 50% water.

 Humidity may affect dry time and/or stiffness.
