Papier Mache

A mixture of paper pieces and glue that is molded and formed around a form while damp. The mixture then dries hard, maintaining the shape of the form. Once dry, papier mache can be painted and decorated with paints and embellishments. Birthday pinatas are a good example of this process. Aleene's Original Tacky Glue is one of the best glues for paper projects.
