- On paper, cloth, and porous materials, spread or brush on a thin coat, press and let dry.
- On wood, pottery, and semiporous materials, apply a heavy coat, compress with a heavy weight or clamp together, then let set 30-40 minutes.
- While glue is wet, remove excess glue with a damp cloth.

I wanted to try new
"I wanted to try new adhesives for mixed media artwork other than PVA or woodworking glue. I wanted something that sets faster, so I purchased a variety of Aleene’s glues. I’m satisfied with the performance of these tacky glues. They work especially well and quickly on paper and thin materials. Sometimes it immediately grabs and stays stuck, no adjustments possible as it is "fast grab." Requires planning and surety before placing because it is difficult to remove if you positioned it incorrectly. Need to be careful about smearing or smudging glue onto your work because it’s not as easily removed as one might think. Almost need a tool storage holder to store the bottle upside down so it’s ready for use at all times or at least while you’re actively working on a project. Great products, but always a learning curve testing on new materials. Totally satisfied customer."

"BEST GLUE EVER...LOVE the Fast Grab Tacky Glue. Shipping could definitely be improved by wrapping the individual bottles with the air-filled bags or putting tape across the lids. Bottles in both shipments I received leaked because the lids came loose or came off completely."
