What you need:- Aleene's Original Tacky Glue
- 2" circle punch
- Cardstock in bright holiday colors
- Scissors
- String
Choose any color cardstock you'd like for your garland; you can go with a traditional holiday theme or an array of bright colors. Have fun with it!
To create your ornaments, use your circle punch to punch out two circles of the same color. Do this for as many ornaments that you want to make for your garland.
Fold each circle in half, and use Tacky Glue to glue two halves of each circle together to form a full dimensional circle.
To create the ornament hanger, cut strips of one color of cardstock, 1/2" wide by 1" long. Fold the strips in half and glue to the back of each ornament. Let dry completely.
Cut a strand of cord as long as you'd like your garland to be, then string through the ornament hangers. Add a dot of glue inside each hanger and let dry to help hold the string in place.
Look at how fun and colorful this turned out! Hang your paper garland anywhere you want to add some extra cheer this holiday season!
