DIY Faux Stained Glass Christmas Ornament

What you need:- Aleene’s Spray Acrylic Sealer – Gloss
- Adhesive-backed lead lines (faux lead)
- Plexiglass square
- Stained glass paint – red and green
- Paintbrush
- Craft knife
- Red bow (or desired color)
- Twine
- Disposable bowls
Step 1
Before getting started on this super easy Christmas DIY, make sure your plexiglass square is clean and free from prints and dust.
Step 2
Using a craft knife, carefully cut the lead lines to fit around the edges of the plexiglass square, as well as two lines to run down the center of the square to create three evenly spaced sections. Make sure to really press the lines onto the square for a tight seal. This will be important when applying the stained glass paint.
Step 3
Pour your stained glass paints into disposable bowls and use a paintbrush to apply the paints onto each section. Don't have stained glass paints for this Christmas DIY? You can easily make your own with Tacky Glue and food coloring! After applying, let the paints dry completely.
Step 4
When the paints on your DIY Christmas ornament are completely dry, spray it with a coat of Gloss Acrylic Sealer to preserve and protect it! Let dry.
Step 5
Tie a strand of twine onto the bow to create a hanger for your ornament.
Step 6
Glue the bow onto your ornament and let dry before hanging.
Step 7
