What you need:
- Aleene’s Super Gloss Finish Acrylic Sealer
- Diamond Painting Kit of choice
- Canvas
- Paint of choice and paintbrush
Step 1 - Paint the canvas before we apply the diamonds
Get started by painting your canvas any color you like. Let it completely dry before getting started on your diamond art.
Step 2 - Choose your pattern & press on the diamonds
Next is the fun part! Grab your Diamond Painting Kit and follow the instructions on the package. First, you will remove the film from your desired pattern and attach that pattern sticker to your canvas. Next, use the diamond sticky pen to press on the diamonds, one at a time, and match each color to the corresponding number.
Step 3 - Shake the acrylic sealer can & spray on your diamond painting
Seal your diamond painting with Aleenes Super Gloss Finish Acrylic Sealer. Shake the can well and then spray the canvas in a side to side motion until its covered in that beautiful glossy finish. Let it dry completely and you are ready to display your new diamond painting!

Knowing how to seal a diamond painting is crucial to ensure its longevity. Follow these steps for a seamless sealing process:
- Preparation: Before sealing, make sure all diamonds are firmly in place. If any are loose, use tweezers to adjust them.
- Applying the Sealer: Place your painting on a flat surface. Shake the diamond paint acrylic sealer well and apply a thin, even layer using a soft-bristle brush. Be careful not to apply too much pressure or brush too vigorously. Allow the diamond paint finish to dry completely before proceeding.
- Drying and Curing: It typically takes about 24 hours for a diamond paint finish to dry, but for best results, wait 48 hours for it to fully cure. During this time, keep your painting in a dust-free environment.
