What you need:
Aleene’s Jewelry & Metal Glue
- Necklace chain
- Vintage button
- 10 mm Bezel round blank
- Jewelry cutters
- Jewelry pliers
- Sandpaper
- Rag/cloth

Step 1: Snip loop off of button

To get started, use your jewelry cutters to snip the loop off of the back of the button.

Step 2: Sand back of button

Next sand the back of your button with sandpaper to smooth it out and prep for gluing. Wipe away any dust or debris with a damp cloth.

Step 3: Apply glue to bezel

Apply Jewelry & Metal Glue to the flat side of the bezel, using the nozzle tip to help spread the glue.

Step 4: Press pieces together

Press the glue side of the bezel onto the upper back of the button and hold in place for several seconds to give the pieces time to start bonding. Let dry completely.

Step 5: Open jump ring on necklace

Use your jewelry pliers to remove the jump ring on the end of your necklace, or to open the bail on the bezel.

Step 6: Place jump ring back on necklace and close

Slide the chain through the bail on the bezel, or place the chain inside of the bail and clamp back together with the pliers. Place the jump ring back on the end of the necklace chain and close.
